I am a BSEE by degree and spent twenty plus years in the RF (Radio Frequency) and Microwave Technology industry, designing products and then migrating into team management. I loved my engineering career, but got tired of the travel and the "W2" world, plus I had a strong desire to start my own company. I spent considerable time determining what business I wanted to dive into. I had always been intrigued with the "consumer" side of real estate. After a few discussions with a couple of close realtor friends/mentors, I was on my way!
My focus as a realtor always has been to do more on the "customer service" side of the business. To me, this is the foundation of building strong, long-term relationships. I strive to exceed every client's expectations, hopefully reducing their anxiety in the process. I know my clients appreciate this, and believe this has been one of the main keys to my success.
I am proud of my team. Karlyn is a gift. She is the team member you hear business owners talk of, so valuable, but so hard to find. Karlyn has given me the opportunity to achieve well beyond what I thought possible. She is a huge complement and asset to the office supporting the rest of the team. Prior to beginning my real estate career in 2003, I worked in the Oregon public school system. The constant interaction with colleagues, parents and students provided me with a firm foundation for learning to work closely with others.
